Application

The GGD type is an enclosed fixed low-voltage switchgear, commonly used in power plants, substations, and industrial and mining enterprises. It operates in AC 50Hz systems with a rated working voltage of 380V and a rated current up to 3150A. This switchgear is ideal for distribution systems with a main transformer capacity of up to 2000kVA, serving as a unit for power, lighting, and distribution equipment, facilitating the conversion, distribution, and control of electric power. The GGD switchgear offers high breaking capacity, excellent dynamic and thermal stability, flexible electrical configurations, convenient modularity, an innovative structure, and a high protection rating. It complies with standards GB/T7251 and IEC60439. The design of our GGD cabinet will be based on the number of customer outgoing lines and the size of the outgoing line current. At the same time, different configurations and different component brands will be designed according to the customer’s budget.

Specifications

Cabinet Body Design:

The cabinet adopts a universal cabinet design, with the frame assembled from 8MF cold-bent steel and partially welded.

Modular Component Design:

The components of the universal cabinet are designed based on the modular principle, featuring 20mm module spacing for mounting holes.

Heat Dissipation:

The cabinet is designed with excellent heat dissipation in mind. Both the upper and lower ends of the cabinet are equipped with ventilation slots of varying quantities. During operation, the heat generated by the electrical components inside the cabinet is released through the upper slots, while cool air is continuously drawn in through the lower slots, ensuring effective cooling.

Door Design:

The cabinet door is connected to the frame via a pivot hinge, making it easy to install and remove.

Grounding Protection:

The cabinet door that holds electrical components and instruments is connected to the frame using multiple strands of soft copper wire, providing complete grounding protection for the entire cabinet.

Surface Coating:

The cabinet’s surface is coated with polyester orange peel baked paint, which has strong adhesion and a fine texture.

Protection Rating:

The cabinet has a protection rating of IP30, with the option to select a rating between IP20 and IP40 based on the operating environment.
