This switchgears, up to 12 kV (GB) or 24 kV (IEC) rated voltage, have a wide range of features, both modular and compact, which have been designed in accordance with major international standards. The switchgears cubicles design includes a hermetically sealed stainless steel gas tank for the lifecycle of the product.

Front view

1.Gas tank
This is a gas-tight welded tank made from stainless steel, which houses the busbars, as well as the live parts like switching and connection devices.
2.Cable compartment
The medium voltage input/output cable connection compartment is located at the bottom of the cubicle and can be accessed by removing the front cover. Inside we will find:
• Bushings
• Connectors and cables
• Cable clamp
• Earthing (grounding) bars
3.Front panel
Switching area for connection and disconnection operations on medium-voltage circuits. Drive sealed against dust, sand, and insects. We will find:
• Mimic diagram
• Switch position indication
• Operator surface for the actuators
• Capacitive voltage indicators
• Gas leakage indication
• Short-circuit indicators (optional)
• Padlocking facility (optional)
• Housing IP44 (IEC) and IP3XD (GB)
A control box can be installed optionally in the upper part of the cubicle and independent of the MV compartments. It is defined for installing protection relays, as well as metering and control devices. Attachable control boxes can be supplied, for the location of signaling elements and the activation of motorized
functions.
